You are bidding on a 100% original 1976 Honda XL 350. I bought it from the original owner's wife a few weeks ago at a moving sale. He bought it in January of 1977 off ther dealer showroom floor at Honda of Boston. It has been sitting in the owner's heated basement since 1980. I have the original title, owners manual and bills of sale and brochures from Honda of Boston. Has just 3649 miles. Still has the original Trail Wing-5 tires, which are in excellent shape. Paint is beautiful. I put a few drops of mystery oil in the cylinders before I cranked it over. Sprayed a little gas into the airbox and it started up on the second kick, The only think I think it will need is to have inside the tank cleaned. You will need to clean the tank befoe you are able to ride it. Rare to find with the original plastic airbox cover. Seat is perfect, it looks like it is ight out of the box. I has ony tiny ding on the top of the tank that is about the size of an eraser head. Everything works, throttle and choke work excellent. Clutch feels good, shifts fine. Brakes are good. The bolts still have the yellow factory paint. Rare collector-quality condition. Very hard to find in this style bike, especially with all of the original papework.
