1999 Subaru Impreza with a 5-speed Manual Transmission! Engine runs well, strong and great gas mileage for an all wheel drive vehicle. This vehicle is excellent in the snow, if we ever have some more. With the manual transmission you have great control of the car in slippery conditions, it will go in snow all the way up to the frame of the car. Car handles very well and it rides well. Air conditioning works well and is nice and cold, and it also can run with the defroster to keep the windshield clear on rainy days. Rear defogger and rear windshield wiper also works. Minor scrapes and dents on the bumpers and a dent in the front right fender. Also has some rust on both rear wheel arches, which appears to be typical on Subaru wagons of this vintage. Has an aftermarket alarm with keyless entry, remote locking, and ignition kill. You have to disarm the alarm with the keyfob, and push in the clutch before it will start. The alarm siren was annoying so I disconnected it. It is easy to reconnect if you so desire. Factory AM/FM cassette. If you lift the rear seat cushion the seatbacks fold flat into the floor. It is really quite surprising what you can carry in the back of one of these. Has a factory roof rack as well which I have never used. Interior is clean, not smoked in as long as I have owned it. Carpet wear as you would expect of a car of this age. The car will need exhaust work in order to pass NYS inspection, and most likely tires as well. Got a bigger car, otherwise it would still be my daily driver. Great first car, or go anywhere car that saves gas. Thanks for looking.
