This is a 1965 Convertible Beetle on a 1964 convertible pan . Being sold without Reserve. Comes with 4 inch adjustable front beam , rear was lowered with drop extension bracket. Everything is easily reversible. Comes with a strong running 1600dp , 34-pict3 carb , svda distributor. It drives and breaks great. Mechanically it needs nothing and it's ready for a that long road trip. Paint is nice and shiny not a showroom but more than better for a daily driver. It has few paint chips and some imperfections which will not show on the pics. Pans are good, some surface rust at few spots is present. Car has been restored several years ago by a local well know VW enthusiast. I've had it for almost 5 years and it needs a new home. I own several different VW's and I'm running out of space to keep them. The Good: - runs great ( tuned up ) - breaks great ( new breaks installed ) - paint ( there is some sap on the hood that i will try to remove as shown on one of the videos ) - body is in good condition - pans are good. - inside is in fair condition - comes with a modern cd/radio that's hidden in a glove box. Never used it as I rather prefer the sound of the engine. - tires The Bad: - it has a small 2 inch tear in the convertible top - top needs new seals - door needs new seals , - door windows are rattling so it's either seals or it needs the anti rattle plugs. - there is light amount of rust of the chrome window trim. - rear bumper has rust and pitting and needs to be replaced. It's cheap brazilian and these only last for couple years . - horn doesn't work , suspect ground but I do not have time to troubleshot. - convertible top headliner is dirty and either needs cleaning or replacement. I've tried to describe it as best as I can. There may be couple little items I could have missed but it would not be anything major. Car was mostly stored out of elements and driven on dry days. As with all the cars I recommend anyone interested to come up and take a look in person. Let me know if you have any questions . Car is being sold without Reserve As-Is.
