I am listing this car for a neighbor and friend of mine who is 69 and unfamiliar with E-Bay. What we have is a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door hardtop. The car is a southern car with a 312 cubic inch V-8 engine, 2 barrel carburetor and 2 speed automatic transmission. The odometer has 104,000 on it and has been owned by this gentleman for the last 19 years!!! The car is in PERFECT mechanical condition. The brake system has been rebuilt including new shoes and cylinders. The car has all new wheel bearings and universal joints. The entire front end has been rebuilt including upper and lower ball joints, ties rod ends, etc. There is also a brand new and complete power steering upgrade kit purchased from Gearheads in Bismark North Dakota, which was recently and completely installed in the car. The car also comes with a brand new, in the box exact reproduction complete Continental Kit, including the big “V” on the back. The car also comes with rear fender skirts that are not shown. The owner will also include a complete 4 barrel manifold and Edelbrock carburetor that he never put on the car. In addition, the car has 4 brand spanking new Coker radials from Coker Tire in TN. This car has no leaks, no malfunctions, and can go anywhere. The only bummer is the paint on the sides. This car has NEVER HAD RUST, and has been primed on the sides only because the paint in that area was peeling off in places on both sides of the car. The owner intended to paint the car, but has a huge collection, has gotten older and recently had back problems. The car is therefore priced accordingly.
