1973 Ford Maverick - this is a great collectible car! It belonged to my mother who passed away in November of 2011. Right up until the date of her death she drove it every week around town. People would always stop and ask her if it was for sale - but it was her first vehicle and she wouldn't turn loose of it! She owned it from 1977 to 2011. It only has a little over 80,000 miles on it. It still has the original engine (straight 6-250) and transmission. It is well worn (it is, after all, 35 years old) but it still runs and has no appreciable body damage. We just took it to the Motor Vehicle Department to register it and it passed emissions just fine. To the best of my knowledge it has never been in an accident. The tires have good tread but are old so I would not suggest driving cross-country on them. The interior needs some special attention because it has been in the Tucson, Arizona heat for many years, and material does dry out here. I have included photos of the interior. The driver seat is torn and the headliner definitely needs replacing (currently held in place with duct tape). I have tried to include a photo of every possible angle. Please let me know if you need more detail. I think the biggest plus for this car (besides the low mileage) is the lack of body damage.
