1970 Oldsmobile 98 Convertible This is a 1970 Oldsmobile 98 convertible that is in good condition and drive and runs good. This vehicle has a good top the is electric and operates without any issues, the top has no leaks or tears, the rear window in the back of the convertible top has separated at the base where it is sealed to the convertible top. The paint is a deep metallic blue that is in good condition, not show care but it is good and does not require a repaint or buff to be pretty, no scratches or dents in the car, very very straight, no record of a wreck. The only scratches on the car are on the rear fender wells where the fender skirts have been installed many times over the years. The body and frame have no rust or corrosion. The floor plans are all very nice, the trunk floor is nice too. It has moderately new carpet in the main area of the floor and the trunk. The eye sore of the car is the interior. The back interior is not to bad but I would recommend replacement and the front interior is a must. As the photos indicate many of the interior panels in the front have been removed for a new interior. I have most of the new material needed to recover the the cars bench seats and side panels and that will be with the car at time of purchase. The car has about 39,000 miles on it and as far as I know they are all original miles. I am the third owner of the car and it has been garage kept it total life. The engine is a Oldsmobile Rocket 455 with a single four barrel carburetor. It has an air-conditioning system on the car yet it is not hooked up and I do not know if there is any charge on the system. The car has pretty good tire on it, they are white wall BF Goodrich on the three tires and recently I had a nail that damaged the fourth tire and had to replace it with a modern appearing tire. The car has a modern radio with a flip out touch screen that also becomes a DVD player with satalite radio and Ipod interface.
