I bought this 1986 GMC High Sierra truck a few months ago from a lady here in Gainesville Florida who had been driving it back and forth to work for several years and was having carberator problems: running rough, stalling out, etc.. My plan was to have a local shop repair the problem so I had it towed there when I purchased it. I have since decided to keep my other newer truck and sell this one and don't want to spend any more time, or money on this one because it is bass season.. I have not attempted to work on the carb, but the truck does start and run, but won't idle evenly and surges when you press the gas pedal. The truck is not rusty, and the body has a few minor dents. Looks like it has had 1 repaint to the same color. Both chrome bumpers are very nice, and the rear is a heavy duty type. It has a great metal tool box and all glass is very good. It has no radio, but was a factory A/C vehicle, but is missing the the compressor and evaporator.Tires look ok. Clean Florida title included. Florida Gator front plate is included in the auction along with the air cleaner that is not pictured. I suggest that you inspect the truck before bidding if possible. It is at the shop I used nearby and arrangements to see can be made by calling there @352 466 4478 and speaking to Randy Jones, the shop owner. This truck is sold where is, as is, and will need to be towed by the buyer. The truck is for sale locally and if sold early, the auction will be ended. Pay pal deposit due 48 hours after auction end.
