1970 SAAB 96 V4Electric Car Potential...light weight, front wheel drive, great battery pack location where gas tank is currently... :) PRETTY PLEASE READ THRU BEFORE BIDDING A BMW has come between us...I no longer have the time to put into this fun car but would love for her to go to someone who enjoys the unique. This is a 85% custom rebuild of a 1970 Saab 96 V4 engine Manual 4 speed on the tree AND has so many extra parts that must go with her I had the engine rebuilt about a year and half ago and I blew the rear main oil seal so at this time the car does not run.... What has been done Weather stripping and body molding has been replaced Custom paint job about 4 years old engine rebuild with steel gears not those fiber gears Rack and pinion brakes CV joints clutch gears Dark Window Tint (see pictures) electric door locks and dont ask me why but my husband had "low jack installed" so it has a alarm system and kill switch should it ever be stolen...;-P Interior: needs to be done... meaning that I have 1 new seat and one that needs re upholstered AND the back seat has a cover and the rear inserts are still in place. They are part of the auction and must go with the vehicle. Also, I have been asked about the engine... It overheated and I shut it off immediately, it did not seize.
