1999 Cadillac ELDoradoNo Reserve!!!! Up for auction is a 1999 Cadillac El Dorado 2dr Touring Coupe with a little under 194,000 miles (average of 15k a year). This vehicle has always been in arizona and has no rust anywhere. It has a white exterior and a navy blue interior. It has a couple of cosmetic issues and one mechanical issue. Cosmetic - Has a dent in the driver door (looks like somebody may have kicked it in with their foot) and the rear spoiler is sun faded. Mechanically - There is a "check steering system" warning that comes on. I took it to my local gm dealership to get it checked and they told me that the leveling rod sensor is broken off. It is pretty much a one foot long small metal rod that connects to a unit that tells the car what the level is. I was told that you can not buy the rod by itself at the dealership and that I would have to buy the entire sensor unit (which was $400 at the dealership). I was told that it is not a safety issue and not something mandatory to do and I can probably find the rod sold seperately else where. It doesn't effect the driving so I never bothered to fix it. I have only owned the car for two months and the previous owner owned it for a month. There is five owners listed but technically it has only been owned by 3 people. The fourth owner who owned it for a month is my buddy and we made a bet against the giants vs packers on Jan 15th. He originally bought the car to keep for himself but thought I was crazy when I told him the giants would beat the packers and sure enough the vehicle was transferred into my name on Jan 16th. I have been driving it since but really can't afford the gas and I still have my sipping civic so I am willing to sell this to the highest bidder REGARDLESS of price. Please don't expect a new car, there is minor dings and scratches and could use a little tlc to make it like new. The interior is in really good condition and the exterior is in overall good condition with the exception of what I mentioned. Veryyyyyyy smooth and quiet ride and I would really keep it but my commute to work is 80 miles round trip a day and that adds up when your driving a V8. It has been a joy driving this vehicle but it must be sold. I have described everything as accurately as possible. If you have any questions please ask them prior to bidding.
