1958 CHEVROLET APACHE 1/2TON FLEETSIDE LONGBOX PICKUP This truck is a great foundation for a nice restoration project or would make a mean looking hotrod!! As you will see from the pictures, this truck is VERY solid and has a clear Montana title. SHEET METAL: Cab corners, step plates, doors and floors are very solid with NO RUST THROUGH. The rust visible beneath the floor mat is surface rust only and the sheet metal is strong. One fender corner is solid, the other is beginning to show only minor rust - usually these areas are completely rusted through on these trucks. Not this one! Box sides are solid with some dents and dings - very repairable. Inside the bed, the wood is in need of replacement as it is weathered. One in-bed wheel well has some minor rust-through. Any rust visible on the fender tops is only minor surface rust where the paint has weathered. INTERIOR: The interior of this truck is complete. The guages are complete and in good shape. DRIVE-TRAIN: This truck has no engine, but does have the original 4spd manual transmission, driveshaft, and rearend. TRIM: Chrome bumpers and grill are complete and in good shape with a few dings. Chrome/stainless trim around windows and cab is complete and in good shape. WHEELS/TIRES: The original wheels are on the truck. Tires are very weathered and hold air for loading/unloading only.
