1973 Honda CL

Hello, this is a super clean original 1973 CL175 Honda. It's in fantastic shape and runs very good. The bike has been very well taken care of for the almost 40 years its been around. Always garaged, never left out in the sun, regularly maintained. Cosmetically it's outstanding, thanks in part to the nice dry Colorado air. The chrome is excellent, the original paint is excellent, the original seat is excellent. All lights and turn signals work as they should, engine starts easily with either kick or the use of the electric start. The bike got a nos rear tire recently, new battery, and an oil change. It has the original tool kit in the box. Even the underside of the seat looks brand new, no rust whatsoever. You will not find a nicer example of an early CL175, no dents,no tears, no damage. The engine has no weird noises and shifts smoothly. It doesn't leak a drop of anything! What does it need? The front brake cable works fine but has discolored with age, a new one of those would be nice. The front tire has good tread but shows its age, a new one of those would be nice. That's it! This bike gets 70mpg so it will be great when gas goes over $4 per gallon! The mileage on this bike is listed as being 19k, but the actual mileage is much less, when I bought this bike the speedo only worked intermittently. The only really nice working speedo I could find at the time had 18k on it. i can't say for sure what the mileage is but the speedo I took off only showed 5k. I had hoped to hold onto this bike and keep displaying it in my shop, but one of my dogs recently had a huge vet bill and I need to use the money from this to pay part of that off. Comes with clear Colorado title, key, and bill of sale. I've been selling parts and complete bikes here on ebay for several years, check out my feedback and bid with confidence. I've used a shipping company called haulbikes.com many times and they have great door to door service. It will cost around $450 to ship this to either coast, less if you're in the middle of the country.
