1979 Pontiac Trans Am *Pontiac 400 V8 with new Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock aluminum high rise manifold. Engine has full tune up including Carb tuning, leak down test, compression test and all fluids changed by JBA speed shop in San Diego. Motor is sound and runs great. Automatic transmission is good and shifts like a stock 3 speed tranny. Headers and exhaust are good exept one bracket in back needs to be rewelded. AC compressor is missing. *Body is in good shape, floor boards are solid, fenders are 98%, a little bit of rust is starting on rear bottom corners. Trunk pan has holes. All weather stripping has been replaced and car does not leak. Interior is in good shape, seats have been redone and look good. Steering wheel is showing wear. Paint is starting to chip and show the original Solor Gold color underneath. All lights, turn signals interior lights work fine. Car is in need of new paint. Car drives and brakes fine, suspension is good, tires and honeycomb wheels are in real good shape. Lots of fun to drive and gets a lot of attention. It was purchased two years ago as a project with my son. Time slipped away, Son is in college now full time and lives away from home. So Trans Am is looking for a new home.
