1971 Mazda R100 USA model rotary coupe. This R100 was stored in a garage for 20 years up untill 3 Years ago when I bought it and started restoring it. It is Rust free and never been crashed. All sub frame and sheetmetal is straight. Some of the exterior has been pimered but the Original green is still intact on the roof, door jams and pillars.I meticulously painted the engine compartment purple. Since I decided to sell the car I did not paint the exterior because I want the new buyer to see how clean and oringinal the car is. The motor is a stock 1981 RX7 12A with 5 speed transmission. The Nikki carb has been stripped of all smog emissions and wired for mechanical secondaries. It has a custom Racing Beat header and all new exhaust. The car runs like a bat out of hell! Starts everytime and not a single problem on long distance cruises. Wheels are 15x8 and 15x7 Boyds Coddington wheels from the 1990's 4x110 bolt pattern. Tires have about 2000 miles on them 165/45/15 and rears are 195/45/15. It has 4 wheel disc brakes The interior does does not have a back seat but is carpeted instead. The front seats are not original but has a Sparco driver seat. Front door panels are original and in great condition.New door weatherstripping. Does not have a headliner.The dash pad has some cracks on top but face is in great condition. Glovebox door and box are perfect. OriginalTach and speedo work. Autometer fuel ,oil pressure, water temp guages. Windshield has a fracture down the center but the rubber and stainless trim is perfect condition. All other glass and stailess trim is perfect. Chrome bumpers are good condition. I have the rocker stainless trim pieces but one has a dent on it. Grill and light bezels are in great condition. Taillights are perfect condition and all lighting works. New Painless Wiring style wiring harness; EZ Wiring kit with new Minifuse box. I still have the original harness in a box. Overall this is a superclean R100 worthy of a top notch restoration. The car has changed hands only a few times and has always been cared for. Buyer pays shipping. No trades.
