This was my dad's last toy. He was a truck driver all of his life and just before he retired he bought one last truck. This Dodge 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel. Why do I say NEW?? First, this truck is incredibly clean. I mean, you would be hard pressed to find a truck 3-4 years old this good. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I've posted hi-res pictures of the entire truck, inside and out and under hood (message me via eBay and I will send you a link to larger, higher resolution versions of the pictures posted here). The other reason I say this truck is NEW is because it only has 78k miles. If you know diesels, that means it is only just getting broken in. Once again, you would be hard pressed to find a used diesel with this few miles on it, regardless of the date it was manufactured. Now to the details. Dad ordered this truck with every available option, except 4x4 and dually axle. There were some options he wanted, like over-the-cab marker lights, but I remember him saying there was a conflict between that option and some other option or package that he wanted. Dad also made some upgrades, as you can tell in the pictures. I'll try to list everything. There is another spare in the bed of the truck. The tires on the truck have just under 5k miles on them and they are Falken Landair H/T's. Shortly after he got the truck Dad put the carpet in the bed (see pictures). He also added the chrome tail gate guard, so the bed of the truck is in very good shape. Once again, you just don't find trucks this clean and in this condition. There are a couple of things to note. As can be seen in the pictures, the dash pad is cracked. This is a common problem with Dodge Trucks and was still a problem as late as 2010. Also, the power door lock on the passenger side does not work. Sounds like the solenoid is working, so maybe it is a linkage issue. The door can be manually locked and unlocked, of course. This is a Florida truck, it has never been to the beach and never been in the snow/salt, and has no rust anywhere. Also, no one has ever smoked in this truck, not even the 'roll the window down and flick the butt out' trick. A title search will show 3 owners, but the first was my dad. When he passed the title was transferred to my mother. She passed and the title was transferred to my name earlier this year. I have very few maintenance records for the truck. My dad always serviced his own vehicles (including semis). After he passed, my brother serviced the truck. The receipts I do have will be included with the original owner's manuals in the glove box (including the original delivery receipt from Commercial Carriers to Westside Dodge). I also have the original front floor mats. They are not shown in the pictures but will be included with the truck. Early on my dad switched the truck over to Amsoil. When I went through his stuff I found bottles of Amsoil motor oil, diff lube, and filters, so he didn't just use Amsoil engine oil, but their filters, etc. I would hazard a guess that the transmission is filled with Amsoil, too. Like I said, it was his toy. Why am I selling the truck? I've got 3 other vehicles, including my toy (a GTO). I hate to sell it, but I just don't use the truck enough to warrant having it.
