1972 Volkswagen Beetle The Extremely GoodNew Rebuilt 1914cc Engine - 94 mm X 69mm, fresh line boar, new bearings, new rings, new gaskets, fresh heads, new Scat C35 cam and gear, high volume oil pump, aluminum bolt on valve covers, new 44 IDF carburetor, fresh tuned distributor, new plugs, new chrome air filter, new oil cooler, newer alternator, new clutch and pressure plate, new exhaust, new fuel pump and new doghouse shroud (engine longblock was a $1200 Ebay purchase)Underside pans are in very good condition, I see no signs of weakened areas except in wheel well area of the spare tire cargo holderDoors have been replaced with older style version allowing a one piece door glass aesthetic appealTires are brand new both on the front and back of vehicleRims are old school chrome and give the car a great lookBumpers are in very good condition - chrome is brightNo major dents in vehicleTitle is clear and free - ready for transfer! Now for the Bad...Spare tire area is rusted - needs repairedDrivers side door glass is not in track properlyDrivers side door shuts hard - needs adjusted and new door stops needed (I have a set)Interior is in need of attention - door interiors are not fitted around speakers and need to be replacedDash had switches installed, holes remainDoor key and ignition key not the same (have both sets)Not sure of what body repair has been made (buyer assumes all responsibility and risk)No emergency brakes are attachedNo heater is installed and no components will be includedMotor starts and runs - needs thorough tuning from qualified technician I have $3800 invested at this moment and I must retire this project as I have my hands in too many things. While there is typical surface rust, the pans remain solid - even under the battery compartment. I am also including in the sale the fitted car cover recently purchased. In our recent 40 mph wind, it never moved. It ties with one tie down in the center and is fitted to only a VW beetle.
