This is a very nice fuel injected 1982 Fiat Spider that runs great with very low original mileage and listed with a LOW RESERVE. It isn't perfect, but could be with a little work. I have owned the car for 2 years and it had sat for 8 years when I bought it with 51,000 miles on it, and I think it even had the original Pirelli tires on it. I have done a lot of work to it and had it painted last year in the original Fiat white paint. The paint job is okay and looks fine at a glance but upon close inspection you will notice some imperfections. The dash and seats are original with no cracks or splits which is an indication that it has spent its entire life in a garage. The only interior repair I have done is to install a new red center console cap because like most of these cars it was deteriorated and split by the brake handle. I also removed the bumpers and installed turn signal lights, but I have the bumpers if the buyer wants them with the car. This car has no rust in the floors or any structural areas of the car. It did have a little rust in the top of the rear wheel arches that was repaired when the car was painted. Since I bought the car I have done the following (and probably more that I can't remember):New batteryHad the fuel tank professionally cleaned and teated to prevent rust.New fuel sending unit.Replaced the brake calipers and installed new brake pads, rebuilt the rear brake compensator, and replaced the rear metal brake lines.New timing belt.Replaced the tires with a set of NOS Pirelli P5 tires.Installed relays on the headlight wiring system (should be done on all Fiats) to brighten the lights and reduce the load on the headlight switch.New OEM quality convertable top.Changed all fluids.Removed the bumpers and installed LED front marker/turn signal lights.Installed a new ANSA high performance exhaust system (cat converter is still functional).Installed a new Pioneer AM/FM/CD with new speakers.
