Offered for sale is a gorgeous completely restored and correct 1932 Ford Model B V8 Roadster De Luxe. Finished in striking burgundy and black with beautiful red pin-striping, the car is an absolute head-turner wherever it goes. Purchased as a completely straight and rust-free survivor by a significant German collector, the car was treated to a frame-off, no expense spared restoration that was completed in 2008. Everything was addressed using all of the correct parts and the car is impeccable down to every last corner, nut and fitting. Since that time the car has been used sparingly and remains in outstanding, near show-quality condition. The correct Flathead V8 with overhead water pumps starts easily, idles seamlessly and pulls with fantastic force through each of the gears. The transmission shifts smoothly, the car drives straight and the refurbished original mechanical brakes are excellent. It's as much of a joy to drive as it is to admire from the sidewalk. The finish is in excellent condition with only the most minimal of imperfections (none of which were significant enough to appear in any of the pictures). The body panels are free of dings or any evidence of body work and the panel fits and gaps are excellent. All of the chrome is in exceptional condition, the glass is flawless, the soft top has been superbly restored in German Mohair material and the 17" wire wheels have been powder-coated in elegant black and are wrapped in nearly new BF Goodrich wide white wall tires. The interior (including the De Luxe edition rumble seat) is finished in beautiful black leather and all of the interior panels are impeccable. The car is fitted with this incredibly elegant dash and early Stewart Warner instruments and it retains its original '32 steering wheel with a horn button and original horn. This is one of the finest examples that we've ever seen: gorgeous, refined color scheme, mechanically excellent and painstakingly restored and exhibiting exceptional craftsmanship using top-of-the-line materials.
