Vehicle Detail

This car was built by my father to be a gorgeous Sunday driver that has a decent amount of power. Here are the details I have:Purchased August 15th, 1995. Restoration and rebuild completed in the Fall of 2008. Maybe 3,000 miles added since. 400ci engine bored .40 over with all engine parts re-machined within manufacturers specifications. Installed new hydraulic lifters, rebuilt heads, and performed mild porting for better flow. Wiend intake manifold, Edelbrock 750 four barrel carb and atomization plate. Estimated 400hp and she is pretty quick. TH350 transmission with new shift cable. 10 bolt rear-end with a highway ready 3.23 gear.New Flowtech headers, aluminum exhaust pipes, Flowmaster mufflers and chrome exhaust tips for stock look. New engine mounts, 4 core radiator, fan shroud, electric fan, water pump thermostat, and heater core.Rebuilt engine bay electrical wiring harness, new alternator, regulator, and starter. All new/newer brackets, tubing, hoses, and lines. New power steering unit, pressure/return lines, and a rebuilt power steer pump. Installed any needed electrical components for engine management: Temp sensor, oil pressure sensor, repaired brake warning light sensor and combo valve for brake controls. Replaced all hard and rubber brake lines and brake assemblies front to rear. Installed used spindals and front drum brake assemblies from 1966 GTO. Installed used brake booster and new master cylinder. Installed new gas tank and sending unit.Replaced interior wiring harness and repair all switches, lighting, or controls for functionality. Installed after market tachometer where clock was. Rebuilt entire instrument cluster. Installed new interior: Carpet, dash pad, center console, seats, headliner, visors, rear deck pad, globe box, front seat belts, front and rear interior door panels and insulation, and kick panels. Rebuilt steering column and painted to match interior, installed new aftermarket radio and speakers. Repaired or replaced all electrical system components. Installed all and replaced some of the exterior chrome trim, GTO emblems, front grill assemblies and bulbs. Rewired and replaced backup lights with new assemblies. Installed new brake light assemblies and rebuilt braking system lighting electrical wiring in trunk area. Installed new front and rear bumpers. Installed new front windshield and chrome trim and rear quarter trim. Spackle painted trunk with GM trunk paint. Installed new trunk mat and spare tire cover. Wheel trim rings are new with PMD center caps. Replaced all new rubber trim. Reserve is set competitively low for this very driveable, authentic, and beautiful 60's muscle car. It does not have A/C and it is not a numbers matching car. Mileage shows as 17,349 but we all know that's more than likely 117,349. Good luck bidding! And if you have any further questions please feel free and reach out to me via email or phone. My name is Mike and my number is (630) 205-5161.
