1971 Challenger non original 318 with factory air condition. Originaly purchased 4 yrs ago on Ebay for $23000 as a father/son project. Son has no interest Father has no time. My extreme loss could be your gain. The good it's a 71 convertible with air and the car is complete and I have fender tag. Decoded it shows car is originally FE5 (red) No build sheet. The bad it needs extensive metal work. My idea was to get it down south to have all the metal work done with the "body in white deal" In my opinion the car is worth saving amazingly enough the doors still close well and the car exhibits no signs of sagging. The convertible top operates as it should all lights work. Does run and drive has posi 8-3/4 with 3:55 gear 2 new axles bearings/seals. Power brakes gone thru new brake line front to rear. new rear wheel cylinders as well new correct fuel tank with all new rubber hoses. Car is sitting on factory original 15 Rallys rear tires brand new on aftermarket rims but other 2 original rims included.(not shown in pictures) Top is in good usable condition as well as black seats front and rear. Following items are included with sale: Clean 71 R/T style hood New Front and rear valance panels Trunk pan Clean front grill (currently off car) Excellent passenger door wit no damage/rot Inner rear fender wells Trunk gutter patch Door jams (clean originals provided for patch work) Both quarters skins included as well. It still needs cowl panel , inner fenders and one front fender although I was going to replace both and floor patch on drivers floor. Rear frame rails ok but could use some attention torsion bar not great but seems to have a lot of surface rust. Small hole in drivers side frame rail easily patched once motor is out. Just to be clear I have all parts for car some are off for better assement of vehicle condition such as grill, headlights buckets rear sail panels etc. All parts that are off which is not many most related to the front of car are bagged and tagged. Heater core just started leaking so I bypassed. Again the car needs metal work all new parts listed by me were purchased by me. I implore you to inspect vehicle in person if @ all possible. I was not able to due that and the previous seller did a good job of hiding and not disclosing a lot of issues to me. Needless to say when shipper dropped car I was very surprised. I am an honest seller and I do not want any miscommunication about vehicles condtion. If you have questions please ask I will do my best to answer and take any additonal photos as time allows me. I do not recommend driving car any long distance until new buyer has assed vehicle. Car is currently registered and insured. Please dont wast my time by bidding if you don't have the funds. We all know what these cars are worth once they are finished. I have original paperwork from ebay purchase to prove my claim of what I paid plus all receipts for items purchased. I have close to 30k in this car so if someone wins my opening bid they have a real good head start.
