Vehicle Detail

The winner if the first acution flaked, so I'm relisting. BEING SOLD AS-IS Features 147,113 miles Engine – 5.8L 351 4-speed Automatic Transmission Four Wheel Drive – Manual locking hubs Cruise Control – works great Factory AC – works great, still cold Hard-shell bed liner added in 1994 Snugtop shell/cap – added in 1994. Glass door on back fell apart in 2008, but I still have the glass and bottom piece. They just need to be reassembled, with new weather-stripping, and bottom piece needs to be reattached. Sliding rear cab window Dual fuel tanks 15” OEM wheels Engine block heater History My father was the original owner, purchasing in 1994 in Southern California. Has never left my family, and title is clean. Moved to Oregon in 1999. Three winters in the Portland area. Moved back to So Cal in 2002. Moved to Kentucky 2003. Five winters in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area Moved to Florida 2008. Has never been taken off-roading. Never been in any accident. An original rear tire did blow out in 2000, which caused some damage to the wheel well. This was repaired, but the chrome trim was not replaced, but I do have the trim. Known Problems: Coolant Leak – Have been slowly losing coolant for a year now. Adding about a gallon per week. Can smell coolant. Leak seems to be coming from rear of engine, but I cannot identify the source. Drip seems to stop after running, but starts again after engine has cooled. Have been told that it is most likely a freeze plug, which is inexpensive to repair, but can be a hassle. Doubtful that it is the head gasket, since Oil is not milky and no bubbling of coolant, which would be considered typical symptoms. I just want all bidders to be aware of. Alternator was replaced in 2008, but I believe it needs to be replaced again. New battery, but truck needs to be jumped if it sits for more than a day. Electric windows do not open or close. Steering gear and pump need to be replaced. Steering fluid needs to be replaced often. Coolant gauge not responding. I believe the Coolant Temp Sender must be replaced. I have the replacement part. Front tires are pretty worn, but no belt showing. Radio/cassette/clock does not work. Repair History Transmission - Replaced Spring 2008. Throttle Position Sensor – Replaced Fall 2011 Idle Air Controller – Replaced Fall 2011 Coolant Temp Sensor – Replaced Fall 2011 Serpentine Belt – Replaced December 2011 Lower Radiator Hose – Replaced December 2011 Water Pump – Replaced December 2011 Thermostat - Replaced 2011 Collant outlet - Replaced 2011 Upper Radiator hose – Replaced 2008 Battery – Replaced with Interstate Battery in 2011 Starter – Replaced 2010 New rear Michelin tires – 2011 Rancho Shocks – 2004 Upper Power Steering line – Replaced 2011 New windshield – 2002 Plugs and points - 2006 Fuel filter replaced in 2011 I also am including a spare Fram air filter, and a set of Goodyear wiper blades. Interior - In good condition. This was not a work truck, just transportation for a family. No smoking has ever taken place in it. Basic stains and spills. Original floor mats are showing their age, but still intact. Dashboard is in perfect condition, as it has been under a custom fit dash cover the entire life of the vehicle. We did have a St. Bernard who rode in the vehicle less than a dozen times, but there is some dog hair in the nooks. Body - There is some rust, from the five winters in the Cincinnati area. Nothing horrible, but some spots along the bottom edge of the body. I have attempted to provide photos of the more noticeable spots. A few dents all around, but no major problems. The worst rust I can see is a long strip on the tailgate, where the shell’s door rubbed the paint off, and rust set in. Winning bidder will need to arrange to pick up vehicle in the Disney world area within three days of auction closing.
