Vehicle Detail

Normal.dotm 0 0 1 283 1617 shaolin 13 3 1985 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false This Dodge Dart 270 two-door was purchased by a family at Glen Nichols Dodge in San Francisco during the summer of Love in 1967. It was built at the Los Angeles plant on April 14, ’67. I’m the second owner and it has never been owned out of the City. It has been garage kept it’s whole life and has 89,293 original miles. It’s been driven just over 2,000 miles/year. Everything on this car is original, except tune up parts. This car is completely unmodified and unmolested. NOTHING has been changed from it’s original build. The only modification is she now sits on 15” Ralley Wheels with the brushed finish beauty rings and dark argent centers with 225/60’s. I have the original hub caps that look brand new if you wanted to put it back on stock steelies for the exact factory look. I also have the Original Owners/Operating Manual, and Dealership Chrysler Certicard along with receipts going back to 1981. Original 225 ‘Dodge Charger’ Slant Six engine, A-904 Transmission are in great shape. She purrs like a kitten. Car just received a tune up on 10/7/11 with: brake overhaul, spark plugs, valve adjustment, new pcv valve/air/oil/fuel filters, carburetor rebuild, and compression check (all six over 100). New alternator, rebuilt radiator, power steering, manual brakes, drives smooth with one finger. The exterior paint is original and is RR1 or ‘yellow.’ Exterior is rust free and never crashed. The interior is the ‘metallic fawn and silver’ with dark brown carpet and dash. Interior is cherry and immaculate. There is one small seam separation on the drivers seat. Other than that it is a time warp that still smells new. Never smoked in. She does have a couple of grocery store parking lot dings and small dents from over the last 44 years. She has been in the City her whole life after all. This car is a true classic and is a great ‘Nostalgic Survivor’ for the Mopar Enthusiast, or throw a small or big block in it and have one clean fast ride.
