This is a excellent example of a Restored 1965 Ford Mustang "GT" convertible tribute! This Classic pony was professionally restored and there is Show Like quality paint which is a base coat clear with a mirror like finish and the body is very straight. There is a new one piece floor pan that was installed along with a new one piece trunk pan. All of the chrome and trim are in great condition and the interior is great condition with the highly desired "Pony" interior. The convertible top is powered and is like new with parade boot. The engine was completely rebuilt & bored .030 over with new cast pistons , new crank , all new bearings and new 271 horse 289 hydraulic cam , new carb and new performance intake. The C4 transmission was rebuilt at the time of the restoration which was two and a half years ago. there are new fuel system (tank , lines , pump) , new cooling system (radiator , water pump , hoses , belts and heater core. There are approximately 2500 miles on the car since the restoration was completed. This is a very strong running car pushing near 300hp that was restored so it can be enjoyed and driven with confidence anywhere! This is a excellent example of a Restored 1965 Ford Mustang "GT" convertible tribute! This Classic pony was professionally restored and there is Show Like quality paint which is a base coat clear with a mirror like finish and the body is very straight. There is a new one piece floor pan that was installed along with a new one piece trunk pan.
All of the chrome and trim are in great condition and the interior is great condition with the highly desired "Pony" interior. The convertible top is
powered and is like new with parade boot. The engine was completely rebuilt & bored .030 over with new cast pistons , new crank , all new
bearings and new 271 horse 289 hydraulic cam , new carb and new performance intake. The C4 transmission was rebuilt at the time of the restoration which was two and a half years ago. there are new fuel system (tank , lines , pump) , new cooling system (radiator , water pump , hoses , belts and heater core. There are approximately 2500 miles on the car since the restoration was completed.
