For Sale: One 1982 Chevrolet Corvette! Black on Black w/ T-Tops. This is a very nice Corvette, with only 84,498 original miles! Originally purchased new in California. 350 v-8 w/ cross-fire injection. I purchased the car approximately 5 1/2 years ago, with intentions of never selling the vehicle. With a family of four and not even accumulating 400 miles of use on the vehicle since purchased, it is more practical to sell the vehicle. Repairs / Upgrades to vehicle, as of 2005: 1) New paint/Body completely redone: Front & rear bumpers replaced with new "True Flex" flexible fiberglass bumpers. These are far superior over the plastic OEM urethane bumpers. The "True Flex" bumpers give a perfect paint match and will not become wavy due to sun fade. These bumpers were painted off the car and then installed. ---- All paint/body work documented on CD disc. The work has been completed by a 20 + years experienced painter. All you can say about the paint is "WOW"! 2) Interior upgrades: Complete new carpet kit, new console, many misc. trim all from Rik's Vet. With new retro Kenwood CD player. Seats are original black leather in excellent condition. 3) Four new BF Goodrich T/A Radials; 255-60R-15 on original OEM 'Vette wheels. 4) Mechanically the car runs and drives great! Starts easy without any noise, rattles, ticks or smoke. Has stock exhaust with a 'classic' muscle car sound. 5) Front & rear calipers /pads replaced with new master cylinder; New tune-up; New water pump. The vehicle does not overheat and runs cool at its correct temperature. This vehicle was to be kept in its original condition: The smog pump has been removed, (but comes with vehicle); heater core has been bypassed; A/C has been working (with all parts intact), but from sitting and not being used, I suspect there may be a small leak. Note: the 'power' door locks & power antenna are not working. All other gauges & controls work fine. I have done my best to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge, this '82 Corvette with the color combination makes this car stand out above the rest! This car is an absolute head turner! This vehicle has been garage kept since I purchased it, and was told from the previous owner that it was stored in a garage as well. The vehicle comes with a very nice water-proof grade cover.
