This is a beautiful example of a Porsche at its finest and the paint and interior truly show it. The off white Chiffon White is a refreshingly unique color and pairs very well with the almost black Cadbury Brown leather interior which feels and shows as if it were a 2004 rather than a 1984. The paint was redone in 1996 by the previous owner as was the dark brown soft top and carpets replaced at the same time. They also replaced the rubber gaskets around headlights, doors, windows, and replaced the windshield. The rest of the interior is believed to be original and looks great for what it is. The engine is original to the car and no major service or rebuild have ever been needed. We have records for maintenance from 2000 and 2002 relating to service work performed at Michael Stead Porsche in Walnut Creek, CA. The transmission goes into gear with ease and shifts through the gears quickly and without grinds. The clutch feels very nice and engages perfectly where expected and without any shudders or stumbles. Overall the 911 is very mechanically sound and quite a joy to drive. This Porsche 911 was originally a European Delivery car that was designated for California sale. It was delivered to Martin Johnson Porsche Audi in Oakland, CA after European Delivery.
