1977 Honda Civic. This car was on the showroom floor back in late 1976 to show the various options that you could get on a Civic. It has the rare original Honda Mag wheels, bumper grab bars, a dealer installed crank sunroof,original radio! It has dealer installed a/c but the bracket that held the compressor broke and the PO took the compressor out of the car. I have what I believe to be all the parts to reinstall it. It also has a tow bar and connection as the PO pulled it behind their motorhome. I purchased this car from California with plans to have the seats recovered and the car painted and drive it as a commuter. I wound up getting a divorce instead, so this car has to go. I purchased the car October 2010. It was not driven at all until recently. The car ran when I purchased it and it runs now. I drained the gas and put in fresh as it has been sitting. The car was a one family car. The PO's aunt bought it new in 1976. He got it from her in 1989. What you see in the pictures is what you get. If you dont see it, I probably dont have it. The PO put a late 70's 1.8l engine in it versus the problematic 1.5l. The transmission was replaced in recent years. The speedo shows 23460 but true mileage unknown. This is a cool little car that needs to be restored. It needs paint and there is one small rust hole in the lower quarter below the bumper. The two front seats need to be recovered and a headliner. (the non padded roof kind) I have extra parts that come with the car. If you have been looking for one of these to restore this is a good example. The tires appear new and have full tread. It starts up easily. It was registered in Ca, passing smog etc until 4/11. I have driven it to get inspected in TX, have a clear Texas title. It has new Texas plates that I have not put on the car yet.
