The Dramatic Story of this 57 Chevrolet Bel-Air aptly named Temptation, The Wicked Lady begins in Los Angeles in 1957. After spending most of her life traveling up and down Hollywood and Vine, she was purchased by a gentleman in 2004 that within weeks sanctioned her complete transformation by the infamous So-Cal Speed Shop Northwest. After 2 ½ years of construction and an investment of over $230,000 she emerged as we see her today. So what makes this lady so wicked? Start with Magnetic Red Magenta Metallic three-stage paint for starters. Pinstriped Black/Silver Accents, custom Carbon Fiber Side Panel Trim, Carbon Fiber Power Side-view Mirrors, AutoNik headlights, customized Sandlin grille, one piece custom built front bumper, 57 Nomad Rear Bumper and functional hood scoops round out the exterior attire. Then add a ZZ4 Chevy Crate V8 making 355 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, Corvette aluminum heads, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, AFB four-barrel, and Hedman headers with electronic cutouts. Tie it all to a Hurst-shifted ZF six-speed transmission, then route all that power to a Ford nine-inch limited-slip rear with 3.50 gears and you have yourself the making of a very sweet hot rod. The tasteful use of carbon fiber accents can also be found inside on the dash, console and door inserts. The fully customized bucket seat interior is finished with luxurious black leather and suede. A custom console/control center features power window and mirror switches a commemorative plaque and 6 Speed Shifter. Other interior amenities include Classic Instruments gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, Power Locks, a polished tilt steering column and a premium multi-speaker entertainment system with subwoofers. The highly detailed two-toned undercarriagefeatures a fully smoothed silver metallic frame and Magenta Red Rhino underbody protection, accented by chrome, aluminum and silver suspension pieces.
