This 2005 Hyundai Sonata V6 sedan with automatic transmission is in very nice condition with 48,188 miles on it. The car is smooth and quiet and is a pleasure to drive. It is particularly easy to drive around town. It has all required service done on it up to this date. It is my wife’s vehicle used mostly for driving to work. She has replaced it with a 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe AWD so it is now for sale here on eBay. The vehicle history involves three owners. Hertz rent-a-car used it up to 19,000 miles when it was sold to an elderly lady who drove it only 700 miles before her son put it up for auction. He said she had trouble remembering her way home. My wife and I purchased the car and drove it to its present mileage. Our attraction was the good price, white pearl color (much cooler in the sun), cloth seats for comfort, V6 and the auto/stick shift Hyundai offers for those who want to take manual control, particularly downshifting on steep hills. An added bonus we found later was the 30+mpg highway driving at 60-65mph. We are in our sixties and in the habit of driving slowly and carefully. Most of our mileage on this vehicle was from traveling around the western states on our vacations. It is a good trip car. Additional features on the vehicle are as follows: Michelin tires (75%), power steering, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power sun/moon roof, remote entry, power door locks, security alarm system, radio with CD and cassette, DC outlet, rear window defroster, fold down rear seats w/cargo pass-through, alloy rims, front windshield glare strip, dash matt to eliminate reflections, lumbar adjustment, retractable antenna and probably a few things I have forgotten. Everything works. This car has been garaged and looks relatively clean and new. The 2005 model was the last year of the body style so it was relatively free of “bugs” so-to-speak. It appears to be an attempted copy of the smaller Jaguar sedan of past, but it’s much less expensive and more reliable. While being a rental it was in one slight rear ender and repaired, however, there is a ding on the left side rear door as illustrated. Since it is hard to see, we left it there for good luck (under the silly superstition if you make it perfect you will entice a more serious defect or accident).
