This Power Hawk was the “2012 Hemming’s Cars of the 50s Calendar” Cover Girl and their February’s Sweetheart. Now is your chance to own this beautiful tangerine & white Cover Girl 1956 Studebaker Power Hawk 2 door, rust-free Arizona car that has been driven less than 100 miles since its restoration! Its completely rebuilt 259 V8 engine is bored 30 over, has 4 barrel carburetor, 3-speed fuel saving overdrive transmission, and Hill Holder This smooth running, engine is ready to take you to the next car show. The overdrive works flawlessly and shifts smoothly with the 3:92 gear ratio in the differential in addition to being fuel efficient and even comes equipped with an original owner’s manual. It starts easily, drives straight, and handles nicely. All of the following parts have been replaced: New sound system stereo radio with CD player Windshield, Radiator (rodded & cleaned) Shocks & exhaust system with glass pack mufflers; Five 205X75-15, Radial Tires; Beautiful Tangerine & White exterior paint job; Eye-catching black vinyl with gray fabric inserts and black & gray interior including coordinating headliner, upholstery, and the carpeting is in the trunk and on the spare tire cover, too; Body rubber (on doors, trunk, etc.); Brakes (all wheels); 12 Volt system; GM Alternator; All chrome as has been re-plated Smooth shifting 3-speed overdrive transmission All working gauges Non-working clock. This engine has a deep rumble with its new exhaust system and glass pack mufflers. It’s stunning, tangerine & white paint, straight body with whitewall tires has been garaged since its restoration but is now ready for a drive.
