This low mileage Jaguar XJ8 finished in Black with Tan leather interior just came in trade to our dealership this week. The main problem with this Jag is that it seems like first gear is totally gone in the transmission. When you try and start driving from a dead stop the transmission will slip as the motor revs higher and slowly will start to move. After a short period of time the car starts to build up speed and gets to about 30 mph then the tranny seems to work normal. Reverse works fine and once you get it going on the highway it runs well. You will need to replace this transmission or repair it if you are capable. The interior is in good condition and the outside of the body is also in good condition with the exception of a various amount of light scratches in the paint that I feel about 80% of them can be buffed out. Also the body has the normal amount of nicks, scuffs and dings as you would expect in a 9 year old vehicle but in my opinion the car is in above average condition and with the low miles this will make a very very nice car for the right person. Current book value on this car is just under $10,000.00 with the low miles. THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD---NO RESERVE !!!!!
