Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a red 1963 Ford Fairlane 500, this one had the V-8 engineOdometer reading is 88,495, I suspect this may in fact be 188 but not absolutely sure.I will try and describe the vehicle as best I can so there are no surprises, feel free to ask me any questions. Exterior: This is where this car shines, its in great condition for 1963. No dents that I can detect, no bondo, seems to be all original paint, no visible rust on the body itself. Lights look to be in very good condition, none broken out or even foggy. Interior: Well obviously your looking at this car for a restoration project and thus as you can see the drivers seat does have a tear, and the side panels need replacing. however I will say I was surprised at the condition of the dash and instrument panels, very good condition, the glove box looks new I was shocked myself. Now, is there any rust at all on this vehicle? yes and I will do my best to explain, where the rear seat would be (taken out of vehicle in picture but is included) the floor does have some rust. However I didn't see any holes from it. I also viewed some on the passenger side door interior, not rusted through or anything so extreme like I said the exterior is great. While the rear seat area has the rust the front seating area has non that I saw, hopefully you can see from the pictures. The only other place i remember rust being located was the bumpers, which one would expect to have those re-chromed anyway. Additional notes: while this car isn't perfect it is perfect for a restoration project, the front tires have plenty of tread! not included is the V-8 engine or transmission that was originally in the car.I recommend a U-Haul car trailer to bring the vehicle to your destination only around 30 bucks i believe, and you can return at any U-Haul location. Please fell free to ASK QUESTIONS, even call or text at (910)-366-3089 (leave a message if no answer) I take pride in my 100% positive feedback. I am selling locally so i reserve the right to end the auction.
