This is a beautiful 1961 Austin Healey MK1 Bugeye Sprite (body meas. @ 53"X137). I purchased this car in 2008 where it had been stored indoors since 1982. This was a labor of love, not a show car restoration but it is a wonderful clean car to drive and own. I have receipts for all work done since purchasing. Restoration since I have owned vehicle: New interior, clutch and brake master kit, wiring harness, gas tank, carb. rebuild, oil temp. gauge, installed horn and seatbelts, headlights and rearlights, hood latch, new paint and battery. New soft top and tonneau cover. Sprite has but not installed, front bumper, hood ornament, and original side screens. Body is in excellent condition, and runs like a top. Has been driven only locally, and stored indoors. Speedometer and tachometer, emergency brake not functioning. Needs a small weld on tailpipe bracket and has minor oil leak. This car attracts crowds at local car shows-if you are lucky enough to be the high bidder, the following are our terms of payment. Car is sold as is/where it is stored with no warranty or guaranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Paypal deposit of $500 required within 48 hrs. and remaining payment must be received within 7 days of end of auction by certified check, or U.S. bank to bank wire transfer .
