This is a RARE find- Ford Escape in a standard transmission. It was bought in Germany and is a Four cylinder 4X4- great on gas and enough for weekend exploring. This does have an aftermarket DVD system in it. IT IS NOT INCLUDED. The pictures show the DVD system but i will install the original factory CD/radio. (the dvd system is PIONEER with iPod input to control through the radio- Add 400 if you want it left in) The speakers are Alpine and Sony tweeters( the speakers will remain ) There is a custom set of brush guards FRONT AND REAR. This is USED and has normal wear and tear. there are some fresh paint chips on the hood i will touch them up, these happen on the boat ride over from Europe. It has a keyless entry system, folding down rear seat, 5 cup holders. Interior has been very well taken care of. Spare tire never used. The car was just serviced and transmission inspected at the factory. They replaced the clutch assembly and the timing belt was replaced at 105,000 miles. A/C works great, wheels were painted at dealer when tires were installed. Pre-wired for amplifier under drivers seat, headliner is in great shape, Back seat was always down. seatbelt imprint are not permanent, Original floor mats in good shape, also has rear cargo cover. NOTE-- Front left bumper has tire rub from what looks like a motor bike rubbed in parking lot. no physical damage just rub// rear hatch has small bent in center (look at photos) , The check Engine light is on- The dealer says it reports a oxygen sensor but both the fuel sensor and the oxigen sensors have been replaced and the light remains on. the car is 2001 and after replacing what the computer said it needed i left it alone. The rear plate has two stripes of tape, its from the European plate being longer. Can be removed no body damage. UNDER THE RADIO IS A RADAR DETECTOR INDICATOR, it is setting in a factor compartment, the head unit will not be included, It will look like the original once removed- The small display is not included. Included UPGRADES as seen in photos--OVERSIZED TIRES Minimal wear, Upgraded speakers FRONT AND REAR brush guards I recently retired from the Military and no longer need an SUV,The military shipped it to the US for me. Windows do have some tint scratched off in the cargo area, Its from transporting mountain bikes. The running boards are factory, the front and rear brush guards custom and are welded to the body not a cheap bolt on. The DVD system does function while driving, it is facing the rear seats so the kids could watch movies on trips. ALSO DOES HAVE REAR CAMERA INPUT CAPABILITY. The pre wiring for the amplifier under the seat if for a subwoofer to go in the cargo area. i DO have the amplifier, like the DVD system its available as an addition- I can make a greater deal. DVD player is Pioneer, it has DVD/CD/MP3 player, iPod cable adapter that plugs into the iPod (In the glove box) and allows control over the music playlist on the radio itself. (3 remotes= 1 DVD player, 1 monitor , and a small one the i have no idea i think it controls a little bit of both. It is a 2001 model car, normal wear and tear, but over all i think in better condition than most. Teens liked to remove them with knives and damage the paint. so i had them all taken off before anyone tried to take them and damage the paint. They like Ford LOGOs overseers.On Feb-19-12 at 12:22:40 PST, seller added the following information: Hello, i think you are referring to the Tire size? 31x10.50R15- I THINK its the equivalent to 235/75R15 but research it to confirm i am not a tire expert --31 is the height of the tire in inch's--10.50 is the width in inch's and 15 is rim size. I used the original factory rim just wanted larger tread for driving up mountain bike trails. was not mud 4 wheeling, more of a farm road/ fire road driving. They fill the tire area very nice, plenty of tire clearance when the wheel turned left or right NO RUB at all, it was the biggest i could get to fill in the tire well. - worldwidefunOn Feb-21-12 at 14:52:52 PST, seller added the following information: KEYS---- 2 transponder ignition keys2 remotes with panic button2 Fuel Keys ( The gas tank is a simple flip open to access-Standard on all Escapes) There is a locking gas cap.1 Emergency key- This key will not start the Escape just open it. Had this made when local carwash locked me out of the Escape on accident.
