1968 Shelby GT-500 KR Convertible, #3994   - Highland Green, black interior, white power top (new) w/folding glass window   - C6 auto, 3:50 Traction-Lok, Oil Cooler, A/C   - tilt-away wheel, AM/FM, 10 spokes with Speedways In Shelby Registry. Long term Colorado owner prior to my purchase in '98. Sold new in Scottsdale. Restoration completed in late 90's at 50K miles, including matching number engine reseal and transmission rebuild, misc. mechanicals, paint, seat covers & carpet. Interior is excellent. Currently at 59K miles.  An amazing show winner that can be driven with confidence. Fully sorted and driven from my home in Colo. Springs to Steamboat Springs every June for the Mustang Round-Up. Car was lightly undercoated at some time early in it's life. Red oxide is clearly visible in places where undercoat is chipping away. Four original Ford steel wheels and Shelby Mag style wheel covers are included with sale.The transmission was resealed (not rebuilt) along with the engine shortly after my purchase in '99 (sorry for the error in original narrative). The torque converter was replaced with a newer style 2200 RPM stall converter. The heater core was replaced two years ago. The A/C was converted to R-134A at that time and is operational. The swing away wheel operation was repaired at the same time. Goodyear radials are not included in the sale. Car will be sold as shown with Goodyear Speedways.
