Even though this is your basic 'no frills' Ranger pick-up, it is equipped with the dependable 3.0 litre 6-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. This truck has spent most of its life at an international airport on the tarmac and served as an escort vehicle for its safety manger. Airport vehicles, by law, are regularly inspected & maintained to the highest standards and their drivers must adhere to strict safety driving rules and regulations set forth by the aviation authority. This truck is no exception. It has not been abused. Within the past year, a new radiator was installed along with new tires, brakes, battery, windshield wipers and a complete major tune-up. All of the fluids were changed when the radiator was replaced. It also has a current vehicle emissions inspection certificate. It was inspected by an ASE mechanic and found to be in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere and it would be a great back-up vehicle for any family. It's great on fuel.
