Vehicle Detail
This is a special T-Top 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo. This big boy was the project car of my late father in-law who was a master mechanic. He owned an operated a prestigious auto and marine shop in our city for a number of years. He however unexpectedly passed away unexpectedly last year leaving us with several of his beloved projects. Built to last, he put his heart and soul in to this car. It runs and purrs like a lion. That's because the exhaust was never completed before he passed away. White with the rare T-Top design, this was to be the family muscle car, one day. Like I said it runs great, it just needs its exhaust completed. This would cost about $500.00 bucks to have it done here. Unfortunately with his death, my mother in law is forced to move and we have no place to store it, nor the money to put into the project at this time. Rather than lug it around with us, we figured we'd sell it and try and finance the move. The title is free and clear, it has a new door skin on the drivers side which has not been painted yet. My father-in-law figured when she was all ready to go i.e. the exhaust done, we'd have her painted, but sadly than never happened. The 454 Big Block came from a 1979 Chevy 1-ton, giving it some serious muscle. Has new valve covers and intake. Since the engine is so large there is not much space under the hood, so finding an air cleaner for her is difficult. Tires are good, and she's ready to go. Ideally, the buyer would fly up to Missoula, MT and have a tow company take her to a muffler shop (its illegal to drive here without an exhaust... and its very loud), they would fix it up for you and you could drive it home. There is no question in my mind it would make it anywhere in the country. Once there you can decide if you want to cut the hood an add a scoop or any number of things. The item is "as is" there is no warranty expressed, or implied. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
