NO RESERVE - ABSOLUTE AUCTION3 DAYS ONLYBIDDING STARTS AT $1 A Fully Updated Foose-Inspired GMC Yukon Denali You are bidding on a 2005 Yukon Denali updated with 2012 Denali features and upgraded to provide the WOW factor that is missing from a stock Denali. The result is a cohesive style that is often mistaken for an especially well-appointed new vehicle. People do double-takes when this Denali passes by and it gets a lot of shout outs... "Nice truck!," "Hey, love your Denali," "What is it?!" A new BMW owner motioned us to roll down the window to tell us, "Best paint job, ever!" ALL THE HOITY WITHOUT THE TOITY! Luxury Sport Utility vehicles are breaking the $70,000+ sticker price mark and manufacturers are putting more and more emphasis on the luxury to justify the cost. Nothing wrong with luxury, but why ignore the beast within! The name Denali is already synonymous with luxury, but a Denali is a lot more than heated leather seats, Navigation and built-in DVD. It is not possible to purchase a more powerful, more capable Sport Utility Vehicle than a Denali. Shouldn't a Denali look as strong on the outside as it is within? Yes, yes it should. The Denali in this auction was born a powerful HOITY, but we chose to give it an All-American Chip Foose Inspired treatment to erase the TOITY. This ain't no "family truckster," now. It could never be confused with the "she put a little too much make-up on" Escalade. It doesn't look like it's trying to copy some European or Japanese luxury machine. It stands alone, looking strong, hunched up at the shoulders and itching to take on anything demanded of it. Finally, a Denali with a skin to match its muscle. Here are a few of the vehicles that inspired the styling of the Denali in this auction... Note: The vehicle in this auction was not built by Chip Foose, but was inspired by some of the classic American styling that embodies his work. BRONZE IS THE NEW BLACK A luxury vehicle in black still impresses, but it no longer wows (evokes a yawn and a "that's nice," maybe). There's a new deep hue storming the luxury market, BRONZE. Instead of waiting until 2014 for GMC to catch up we chose the color we wish they offered now, a Deep Metallic Pearl Bronze for this one-of-a-kind Denali. The dark main body is highlighted by a Silver Metallic upper body with subtle copper handstriping (by the famous J-Bird) as a transition. The bronze on the Denali you are bidding on is a decidedly deeper one than most of the new Bronze colors exploding across the luxury vehicle industry, but we added enough pearl for the bronze to make itself known when the bright sunlight showcases it. In case you haven't noticed the color trend, check out some of these new models for 2012 and 2013: On January 26, 2012 BMW revealed the first images of the newly updated 2013 BMW X6 Sports Activity Vehicle in it's NEW bronze color BMW calls Marrakesh. When you go the website of Mercedes Benz you are greeted by an image of the new for 2012 M-Class pictured in a new bronze color they call, Dakota. That's an Explorer?! Yes, yes it is. A 2012 sporting a finish they have christened, "Golden Bronze." Volvo calls their new color, Terra Bronze Metallic. 2012 Porsche Cayenne in umber. 2012 Audi Q7 in a bronze color called teak. Infiniti QX56 in Dark Currant. Acura MDX in Ionized Bronze. Fire Agate Pearl is THE new color in 2012 for Lexus. 2012 VW Touareg dressed up for show in toffee. Even Rolls Royce updated their classic black with a bronze for 2012. The bronze on the Denali in this auction has more pearl in it than all but the Lexus Fire Agate Pearl. It can look as dark as black or glow a deep brilliant bronze in the sun. UP-TO-DATE WHEELS, TOO! We chose the best wheels to fit the new design. They're 22's (as are the wheels on a top of the line 2012 Denali). They were the most attractive available to fit the new styling and they are, coincidentally, hauntingly similar to the wheels found on the 2012 and 2013 luxury vehicles pictured above. A SUPERFECTA OF REAR AND ROOF UPGRADES! ALL THE OPTIONS, NOT YOUR AVERAGE DENALI! Denali is already an upgrade from a Yukon/Suburban. Every Denali comes with leather, front and rear air, 6.0 V8, Multi-Disc CD, On Star, etc. However, the Denali you are bidding on in this auction has every possible Denali option including... Navigation System, Oversized Premium Wheels, DVD System, Front and Rear Heated Seats, Power Moon Roof, Advanced Towing Package, Premium Grille Guard (Painted to match still in box), and more. Add to that $10,000 or more in upgrades not available from GMC and damn... this is a vehicle like no other... a fun car to drive, a workhorse that can handle anything demanded of it and a vehicle that will turn heads. Check out the pics below. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH AN EXTRA $60,000?! A good friend just purchased a 2012 Yukon Denali. It is similarly equipped to the Denali in this auction. In fact, they are very similar in nearly every way, except for two big differences. Number 1, the Denali in this auction gets more attention and number 2, he paid $78,000... gulp! His 2012 doesn't tow better, it really isn't more comfortable, it doesn't seat more people. And, it is a safe bet that the depreciation hit he'll take in the first year will be greater than the amount you will pay as the winning bidder of this auction. The Denali in this auction is not perfect (like a 2012 just off the showroom floor), but the tens of thousands you'll save will make it more enjoyable to own. It has new model styling, it is so attractive it practically glows, it has the amenities, it has the premium power and the handling and towing capability only available in a $70,000 plus vehicles, but you'll get a lot of peace of mind and satisfaction knowing that you have all the advantages of a new Denali for less than the cost of most new compact cars. In other words, if you have an extra $80,000 laying around, win this Denali and put the left over $50,000 to $60,000 in your pocket and enjoy. HEATED LEATHER WITH LEVEL AND ZONE SETTINGS Heated, yes, but there is even a separate control to heat your seat back, as well as three levels of heat on your bottom for both the driver and passenger. Separate convenient controls for each. Mats were replaced with WeatherGuard custom mats. LED Premium TailLight Upgrade Very attractive upgrade that doesn't shout, "look at me!" It fits with the other 2012 styling/upgrading perfectly. ADVANCED CLIMATE CONTROL WITH 3 ZONES This is the first model year that uses GMs new advanced climate control system. It's more reliable and is a huge departure from systems used in earlier models. Set the temperature and there is no noise, there is no noticeable periods of heat then cool, it just maintains your comfort level all the time. It's amazing. There are separate controls for three different zones, driver, passenger and rear. HEATED REAR SEATS, TOO! There is a control panel for the rear passengers. Each has their own level of heat through independent controls. In addition, there is a center control panel which allows the rear passengers to take independent control of the audio/video sources; DVD, CD, RADIO, etc. For example, the driver can be listening to a CD, while the third row passengers are watching a DVD using the wireless headphones and a second row passenger can be playing and controlling the radio and listening through a headset... all at the same time without disturbing one another. MOON ROOF AND CEILING MOUNTED WIDE-SCREEN DVD The driver has a DVD pause button conveniently located at the front of the roof-mounted DVD player. Driver can tap a button to pause the kid's movie for a quick lunch stop and have the kids pick up right where they left off when they return. There is a remote and two sets of wireless headsets. I have a 3rd headset that works from another vehicle I will include, but it is not as nice as those that came with the Denali. All headsets could use new earpad covers. A couple of buttons are missing from the headliner in the rear. I will try to pick up the earpad covers and buttons at my local dealer before auction end. LET THERE BE LIGHT! A tap of the keyless remote entry and the Denali surrounds itself with exterior lighting on all sides, front and rear lighting, too. Pretty cool to have on a moonless night. Just plain cool every other night. MANY MORE PICS, ENJOY AND BID ON! There is no dent in the fender. That is a reflection of the boat house. Again, please notice the reflection of the boat house in the fender. There is no dent. See other pics with close-ups. Uh, yeah... that's why people look, then turn back to look again. Whoa, look at that! Warning: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT PERFECT. To the average guy or a casual onlooker this vehicle will look new, perfect. However, this is a used vehicle. It is not currently in "show-car" condition (of course, no used cars are). It has a high-dollar metallic pearl base multi-step paint treatment and shines like a son-of-xxxx, but there are too many little imperfections to "show it" (except for local "cruise-ins," etc.). An example is the photo above with a close-up of a tear on rear bumper. If your intention is to enjoy the vehicle it's not worth the trouble of fixing. There are no dents (a couple dings are indicated in the photos) and absolutely no rust, of course. Mechanically, it runs and drives like a new vehicle. To sum it up, it is one AMAZING machine. There is a light that comes on intermittently that we had checked which indicates a front air bag sensor needs replaced (common on the Denali). The tires came off a new Escalade. My local dealer installed them for me at a good price because he said the Escalade owner did not like the ride. There is a noticeable bumpiness between 45 and 50 (I researched it and this seems to be very common with factory Escalade 22" tires), but I thought we would get more wear from them before replacing and you may or may not decide to do the same. Overall this vehicle should give many years of reliable service to you. It has the feel (and even smells) like a $60,000+ vehicle. A real pleasure to drive. Tiny ding below DENALI nameplate on outer edge of door. Approximately 6" below center of nameplate. Headlights and Bumper lights upgraded to all Chrome like 2012 models. No yellow lenses up front or in the rear. The premium headlights have LED and Halo built-in which is becoming a new trend for high-end vehicles. I have the connection kit for the LED and Halo, but did not plug it in. I also have an OEM ($1250) front grille guard painted and ready. It is the modern styling made of a composite material painted to match the body with a chrome skid plate. It looked so good without it I didn't have it bolted on. If you want the front to look even more like a 2012, then you could install it. Will take a photo of the grille guard and send if requested. Bronze Metallic Pearl in direct sunlight. Premium BOSE Sound. TouchPad Controls for Sound, Radio, Navigation, etc. Navigation System Cupholder cover stays open. It has a touch-latch that does not function. A replacement was purchased and will be included. This Denali has the optional advanced tow package. Towing? Just don't forget you are, because it tows so easily you won't feel anything tugging or putting demands on your vehicle to remind you. However, you will notice that the tow mode actually changes how the vehicle shifts on hills and when accelerating. Pretty amazing machine. Notice tow button on end of shift in top left of image. Actually changes transmission performance for towing. PAYMENT AND DELIVERY PayPal deposit of $500 is due at auction end with balance due within 48 hours. Please make sure funds are on hand before bidding. If you are unable to pick up right away we can garage your Denali for 30 days at no charge, however, payment in full must still be completed within 48 hours of auction end. Thank you and good luck! On Feb-10-12 at 18:44:50 PST, seller added the following information: Vehicle history shows "issue found" -- accident. Read the entire vehicle history report. The "accident" was minor damage from hitting a deer.
