Vehicle Detail

1972 Triumph T120 Bonneville. Clear Transferable NYS Registration. Matching Frame and Engine Numbers. The bike is 95% complete and needs final assembly and tuning before putting her back on the road. I started the project in the fall of 2010 and have been slowly sourcing all of the needed OEM parts to rebuild the bike. I've run out of workspace in my small garage and have decided to sell the Triumph in order to free up some room and funds to complete my other projects. I tried to include all of the relevant info below. Please let me know if you have any specific questions or would like more photos. The motorcycle is located in Brooklyn, NY 11211. Local Pickup is preferred, though I am happy to work with a freight company at the buyers request/expense. $500 deposit via Paypal is due within 24 hours of the auction's end. Balance to be paid in cash or Cashiers Check upon pickup or prior to shipping. I reserve the right to cancel bids of those with no prior bidding history or excessive negative feedback. Onto the motorcycle.... It was a daily rider and registered and on the road in NYC up until a year and a half ago when I began the restoration project. The engine has solid compression and kicks over fine. The engine was rebuilt just prior to my purchasing the bike and has approx 3000 miles on the rebuild. I did not do any internal work this go round as it was running great when I broke the bike down to get into the cosmetic items. It's a really nice Triumph and in great overall condition. I tried to replace all items with Triumph NOS/OEM parts as available. *(The air filters, handlebars, and grips are aftermarket and the seat is a reproduction). As far as known issues or blemishes- There are a few very small chips in the tank and fender paint that are visible in the photographs. There is also a very small section of one of the cylinder head fins on the right side that is cracked. The lower right valve cover screw on the exhaust side is stripped and should be repaired. *(the cover seats fine and was not leaking any oil but it is worth mentioning). Lastly, there seems to be a slow oil leak around the oil filter cover that will need to be addressed.
