If you are looking at this auction, then you most likely realize how unique this truck is. Final year for these true heavy duty 3500 Chevy trucks. Here we have a documented (see Autocheck) 2 owner 1991 Chevy 3500 Silverado crew cab 4 x 4 in unbelievable condition with 112,000 original miles. I had this shipped from Oregon myself and it has not seen any northeast winters or salt, as evidenced by the undercarriage pictures. I have had many trucks and suburbans shipped here from the west, but this one is the cleanest I have ever seen...nearly all of the frame and under-floor paint is intact...see the pictures! This was the only year you could get this 1 ton old school square body style with the overdrive transmission, so you it is much more economical to drive. This truck runs excellent and tight, 454 starts right up, idles properly, accelerates without hesitation. Previous owner installed new shocks and front tires within the last couple years. Interior is excellent with just a couple very minor issues: driver's seat has a wear crack just through the outer vinyl (see pic) on the outboard edge from getting in and out, dash has a few cracks. Other items worth mentioning: inside of tailgate has scratches, set up for a fifth wheel in the bed, outer bezel on cruise lever is missing but does not affect function, few minor scratches here and there, aftermarket CD/stereo. The rear seat and carpet are like new and almost look like they were never used! Excellent headliner, clean door panels. Bed has a Linex bed liner. There is a small crack (about 2") in the rear tailgate aluminum decorative insert panel.On Feb-12-12 at 08:27:15 PST, seller added the following information: Transmission is 4L80E HD overdrive transmission, Transfer case is NP205, I believe front axle is Dana 60. The paint is in excellent condition and has excellent shine and finish. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this truck. All of the typical places on these trucks that start to rust first (door bottoms, inner/outer rockers, rear of bed, front inner fender reinforcement, etc) are all excellent and factory original....no rust ever. It is 21 years old so it is not perfect, but it looks like about like a 2 or 3 year old truck.
