Pristine 1984 Saphire Silver/ Saphirblau-Metallic BMW 318i, two door, 5 speed, with beige leather interior. I'm selling my 318 because our new house won't have enough garage space and it would have to live outside. Honestly I don't want to watch it loose value or worse get damaged while parked on the street. Which is inevitable. Positives: I bought this car from the original owner who special ordered it from Mill Valley Imports and purchased May 26, 1983. Fully documented, everything. He was an electrical engineer from Santa Rosa and was meticulous in his care and maintenance for this E30 and it's obvious. Always garaged at home and his office. He had a custom car cover made for it which he used everyday while the car was at work sharing a garage. Every receipt from fuses to the complete top end rebuild by North Bay Bavarian in Santa Rosa 10,171 miles ago come with the car. Also all manuals, service books, articles, and original parts. It's Saphire silver/ Saphirblau-Metallic with beige leather interior that's close to perfect all the way around. Original paint with zero rust or corrosion and accident free. Beautiful dash, headliner, door panels and carpet. Super clean trunk. Again all original. Runs and drives flawlessly and everything works. Currently has 158,052 on the odometer with top end rebuilt by North Bay Bavarian at 147,881. I replaced original suspension with Bilstien shocks and struts, H&R lower sport springs, new OEM upper strut mounts, Eibach sway bar kit with Poly mounts. It also has new ESM 002 16x7.5 rims and Yokohama Parada 205/45-16 tires. ALL less than 60 miles. It has a new black suede Momo steering wheel and hub. Motor wise everything is stock with stock exhaust and it passes Ca. smog with flying colors. Everything under the hood is super clean and no leaks. Negatives: Not many. There is a 4mm dent on the front left fender arch, it's tiny and paint isn't chipped. There is one scratch on the left door about, 4mm, that's been painted with OEM match paint pen. Again tiny. the rubber valence around the front bumper has two slight waves from age. About 2 inches each. I checked the price for that piece and it was $84.00. The carpet behind rear seat is in great shape but a bit faded. The passenger seat back is a little offset, I seem to be the only one that's noticed.
