This is a 1980 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Custom Hydraulic Low Rider. The engine is the original 305 small block with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Odometer is at 179,000 miles, but the engine was totally overhauled at 120,000 miles. Some under hood upgrades include the Edelbrock Intake Manifold and Holley Avenger Low Rider Carburetor, which is specially made to keep the engine running smoothly when hitting the switches and driving. The body has always been super nice but the original paint was oxidized. It was repainted with a totally custom metallic red paint mix and has custom, three color, pin-stripping. The cost of the paint work was over 5k and was done about 4 years ago. The paint is just as glossy and beautiful as the day it was applied. The body still has no rust or dents at all. It has always been garaged and babied its entire life. It has all the original stainless & chrome trim; still shiny, and bright. The interior is completely original. Everything is in excellent working condition. A quality Alpine CD player was installed to cruise to your favorite song. A top notch custom three pump hydraulic set up is in the trunk. Has a Black Magic Piston Pump plumbed to the front; to get airborne and it has two Reds Competition Pumps working the rear; this car gets up there! There are nine Interstate Batteries which supply the juice through out the system. The batteries were purchased brand new about a year ago. The custom wired switch box on the front seat makes everything perform flawlessly. The rear end is a coil over power ball setup, 2 ton springs in rear,3 1/2 ton springs for hopping in front (brand new 5 tons on the side for the right price). The frame has been totally reinforced; which includes the rear wheel arches, front cross member, extended a-arms, front frame rails, engine cradle, and rear end. Everything was professionally welded and done cleanly. It rides smooth on the chrome 13 x 7 100 spoke knockoff wheels. I am selling this car for my brother who is only the second owner. The original owner was an older retired gentleman. If you are a car guy and know about Low Riders and custom rides you can understand that there is a lot more money and time invested in this car than what the asking price is. For example; just add up the cost of all nine axillary batteries. A $500.00 dollar PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours of the auctions end and the remaining balance is due within 7 days.
