For sale is my BMW e38 740il. i have owned the car for three years and 120,000 miles it now has 170,700 and it has been a pleasure for every mile. The car will need some work but it is an absolutely beautiful car that will definitely be worth it. I have received hundreds of compliments driving this car since i have owned it and the next owner will also.The paint is absolutley beautiful always waxed with minimal wear.Interior is also infantastic condition with no tears in leather although there is some where to the steering wheel column from gripping the same spot. I have thousands of dollars in receipts that will also be included in the sale. Oil is changed using Castrol full synthetic. The car will also come with m-parallel oem wheels that are an Alloy finish (Not Chrome) look great and have some peeling and rash but overall great condition. The car also comes with 20 percent tinted windows even the windshield and 10k hid headlights that illuminate the road beautifully and have that oem look none of that blue nonsense. Every upgrade has been tastefully done such as the painting of front bumper side skirts and rear bumper to give it that 2001 e38 look i have also shaved the rear emblems for a crisp clean look.I recently replaced both catalytic converters and all 4 o2 sensors ($2200 job) less than 1000 miles ago. The water pump, camshaft position sensor,pulleys, and valve cover gasket,control arms,new radiator,motor mounts job has also been performed on this car. Alot more work has been done and i can prove it with receipts that include date and corresponding mileage. Now for the bad when driving the car there is a bad rumble that pretty much shakes the car i am not a mechanic but i suspect that it is a brake caliper that has malfunctioned as this has happened few years ago on this very car and the caliper was the culprit so i had to replace that and the rotors but again i am not a mechanic. The car will also need a dsc module and lastly the car has small rust spots on the rear wheel well and the car has a small oil leak nothing major but couple drips here and there.Also a small dent on driver side door that is hard to show on pictures but if you text me i can try to snag some for you. After this work is completed you will have a sound and gorgeous car. The transmission and engine are very responsive and this e38 is full of power from the m62 engine (sport mode is no joke). Only reason i am selling the car is because i am taking my brothers black 740il to help him buy a 2001 740i sport that he has had his eyes on for a while.
