Up for auction is this beautiful midnight blue metallic, LoneStar Classic Cobra. It is powered by a very strong 351Windsor that starts first time – every time, with aluminum heads, MSD electronic ignition, Weiand polished intake manifold, and a Model 4150, 650 CFM, double pumper Holley. The odometer shows 560 miles but I believe there is more mileage than that on the car, not much, but more. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels by a 4 speed top loader connected to a Ford 9" differential. This is a very, very fast car. It rides on Goodyear Billboards on Shelby Wheels with knockoffs buffered by Alden America double adjustable coilovers and stops on a dime thanks to Wilwood brakes. A Speed Hut GPS speedometer and full VDO instrumentation keeps track of the vital functions. The engine runs cool thanks to an Afco Aluminum radiator and produces over 50 lbs of oil pressure while cruising. The interior is very comfortable thanks to the extra 4” of cabin room that Lonestar builds into the car allowing you to have a tilt steering and the gorgeous Shelby wood steering wheel.
