1997 Chevy C5 Corvette with 87xxx Miles. Targa Top Car with 5.7 Liter LS1 V8 and 6 Speed Manual Transmission. 4-Wheel ABS, Power Steering, Power Seat, Air Conditioning, Tilt Wheel, Leather, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Keyless Entry, Bose AM/FM CD with changer, 18” Chrome Wheels (no air pressure sensors), Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Dual Airbags, dual power seats, and White Top. Runs great with no check engine, abs, srs, or airbag lights on. Tire Pressure Senders do not work. Tires have 4600 miles on them. Tell your wife you are buying as a commuter car, yields 27 MPGs doing 80-85 mph. Built in Bowling Green, Kentucky in the good ol’ USA. 345 HP and 365 FT LB of Torque in this 3172 lb car means a top speed of 170 MPH, a 0-60 mph of 4.7 seconds and a quarter mile time of 13.2 seconds from the factory. This car is all stock except for the exhaust, which is Corsa, no intake, no programmers, no abuse. Previous owner was a 41 year old male nurse who used the car to commute to work. I bought the car 7-27-2010. I have put just over 4600 miles on it. When it wasn’t garaged, it had a car cover on it. I love my car, but between medical bills for my newborn son, a wife who now stays home and that I want to invest in real estate, it is time to say good-bye. Car has a clean carfax, was in Texas until 54,736 miles, then went to Kansas until I purchased it last year. While the carfax is clean, but I can tell the nosepiece has been repainted, color just barely off. I take care of my vehicles, but I also drive them. Don’t expect a car that just rolled off the assembly line. Nose piece has it fair share of spiderwebs cracks in the paint and rock chips. The center caps are wearing. The drivers seat has a small seam opening, the shifter ball is worn, the center console has a small crack in it, driver's door glass has a crack in it, the passenger mirror spring is loose and rattles when the door is shut and the tire pressure system doesn't work. That is what makes this a driver and not a show piece. If this was a 1997 cavalier, you wouldn't ever notice these things, but being a Vette, they need to be mentioned. There might be a few other minor things, but that is all that I can think of. But as you can see from the pictures, she is still very very presentable in this condition.
