1981 Buick Lesabre Limited w/ replacement 5.7 (GoodWrench) Diesel. Uncertain as to when the motor was replaced. Last time on road was 2007. The mileage is 89.xxx original low miles. This vehicle currently runs and drives and comes equipped with cruise, tilt, power windows and locks, a working clock and of course air conditioning The interior is in excellent shape with absolutely no wear or rips in the beige vinyl upholstery both front and back. The dash is free of any cracks. The carpeting is beige in color and also has no rips or wear. Could use a shampoo though.The headliner has no sag and is free of rips or wear. The frame is solid and free of rust flake or rot. This vehicle has a rust free burgundy body with just a small ding or two. I would say that a paint job would be in order due to several areas of clear coat peel. The vinyl top is beautiful with some missing trim pieces. The front bumper has some chrome flaking but straight. The rear bumper has no flaking and straight. Both are great candidates for re chroming. Front and rear also need bumper fillers. The tires are all matching and are at least 85%. The other two spoke caps are inside trunk. Mileage for this six passenger luxury sedan is 30+ mpg. This car has obviously spent its life garaged when not in use and is currently stored in a heated garage while in my possession. This true American classic with a diesel heart deserves to be brought to its original glory. And it wouldn't take a lot to do it. I would currently rate this vehicle as a strong 7. However...it would not take much to make it a 9 or even 10. I reserve the right to end this auction early because this vehicle may sell locally.
