1994 Miata MX-5 1994 is the best year for the first generation Miatas, it has the stronger 1.8L engine along with the beefed up rear differential, rear structural cross-bar and a true oil pressure gauge. This car only has 112k miles on it, these engines are absolutely bullet proof and will readily go over 300k. Recent work: Brakes over this past summer, timing belt (water pump, cas-o ring, valve cover gasket, pulleys, etc., etc.) fall of 2010 and very recent oil change. The car runs tip top, starts up and gets to highway speed without a hitch. Suspension is tight, brakes are fresh and the drivetrain is solid. The convertible top has a cracked plastic window which is currently folded down. The hard top is in great shape and are hard to come by, they alone sell for $800+ (defroster, too!). The front right and left fenders have some dents, they're kind of bigger dents which would be very easy to pop out, just never got around to it. Car is sold As-Is.
