In 1955 there were only a few manufactured with the paint scheme, with only a limited few of them being the "Panama" series. Therefore you are looking at an extemely rare/unique vehicle. One thing which adds an abnormal value to the vehicle is that it has all pieces/hardware/hubcaps/mirrors/knobs/etc. Each and every window on the vehicle is original. The absolutely only non-factory item which has been added to the vehicle is an upgraded electronic fuel pump. To be a 100% road worth, drive anywhere car it would need: Recomended: new shocks installed (already purchased in trunk) new bushings brakes need bled band adjustment on reverse gear ( reverse is in-op ) new trans gasket installed (also already purchased in truck) Optional: interior needs re-done (carpet is excellent, really only seats, seals, and some chrome) guages need re-done or replaced (only temp and volt guages are operational) What you are looking at is really just a piece of history. I have all original owners manual/booklets/ and original repair manual that come with the packard. This particular one only has 54k miles, and is completely original. This packard is a very rare car (1 of 4 documented to still exist) Its complete model is the Packard Clipper Super Panama. The exterior is absolutely astonishing for the year, with only minor flaws, no rust (other than a few surface spots). It needs the seats re-upholstered, get a few of the chrome pieces refinished, along with a few seals, and rubber here and there this car would be show quality. All original / numbers matching / orig 54,000 mile / possibly 1 of 4 left
