1949 Chevy StyleLine Deluxe. 4dr. 235 6cly 3 speed on the column .This has been a project I rescued awhile ago and is now a daily driver. Runs great and goes down the road straight and true at 60mph. The paint is not as good as the pictures make it seem,boiling in spots put the steel under is great but could really use some paint.Ive been told a 100 times by the "Old timers" they like the old paint, gives her character. It is soft in the usual areas, rockers,floorboards and spare tire well in trunk have rust through but easy fixes. . This car is 63 years old and still going strong. Has great oil pressure and always starts and sounds great. Transmission and clutch are good. Glass is all there. a cloudy blemish in the lower right corner of right windshield (2 piece windshield) d/f vent window has cracks as does rear vent. All the chrome is in tact and solid but needs to be re-chromed. Bumpers are solid but need re-chrome. Headliner is out but I have one in storage that was whole . Have many extra parts. This car is all here. the wind-up dash clock even works(from time to time) radio is intact but in-op. This is a 235-hydrolic lifter engine and is running on 12 volts. Car has original cloth wiring and i would recommend that it be redone at some point, but it runs and goes great. All the lights work as does the vacuum powered wind shield wipers. I have saved this one from the crushers and gotten her back on the road where she belongs and have driven her to work every day for a year, now you need to make her pretty again. Rocky Marshall... This Car has been relisted. I have dropped the reserve price and have included a number of extra /spare parts(extra tail light's break parts ,points ect ect ect). I have also located the interior headliner "Springs/rods" and the headliner itself.I do not know the condition of the liner but it was intact when it was stored. I also have gotten the High beam indicator to work along with all installed lights, including the dome light which is working on the pass. side door. (still needs the drivers side switch looked at.
