You are bidding on a 1981 Mercedes Benz 300 Turbo Diesel Roadster. It was converted from a 380 SL - installed with a 1987 300 turbo diesel [intercooled]. This ride is a 5-speed manual which I've been using as a daily driver. Gets great fuel mileage with stick and diesel - and drives like a gas car! It has a hard top as well as a like-new convertible top. The hard top storage rack comes with the car. Has dual electric fans, one automatic and one manual. No overheat problems! Work Done: Both the head and radiator have be re-done and pressure tested. The heater fan has also been upgraded. The following parts have been installed, NEW: gasket, injectors, lifters, glow plugs, filters, lines, brake system, master cylinder, disc pads & rotors, wheel bearings, exhaust system, boost gauge, flywheel, pilot bearing, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, slave & master cylinder. ***There is a low reserve on this car.
