You are bidding on a very detailed restored 72 chevy c20. Truck was completed about a year ago. Truck was built with the intent of never selling and was built to MY specs but i need the money to build a new shop at a new location where my wifes new house is. Here goes: Paint is Hugger Orange and Black with the same on the interior. The whole truck was disassembled for painting to give a much more detailed look everywhere. It was reassembled with new ducts and all new vacume chambers for the heating and air, the truck needs only a compressor and brackets and a drier to make it work correctly. The bed is rhino lined, the engine is a 72 402 block with 90 model peanut heads 360 castings, for fuel efficiency, the heads were milled a 100 thousands to take the cc's in the chamber of the head from 118 to 110 to create more compression, should be close to 9.8 to one with stock dome 402 pistons and runs on 87 octane with no pinging. Cam is a mtc6 melling, low mid range torque for towing and gas mileage, gets about 14 short tripping and 16 on the interstate. engine has a chevy square port intake from a boat engine with the famous snow flake. all parts to rebuild this engine are new the bore is 030 and the crank is 010 rods and 030 on the mains. the interior is all new: door panels, carpet, seat covers and gas tank cover, glove box is also new. dash has factory tach and gauges and all work, tilt column. new windshield and gasket, glass is like new and is tented all the way around. doors have all new glass run channel and window wipes with all new weather stripping. truck is quiet inside with very little wind noise when driving about 65. truck has 2.5 inch exhaust, headers, with H pipe and nice sounding mufflers, not loud, deep tone. rear end is a dana 60 with 354 limited slip gears and carrier. tires are new on the front with very nice sport kings on the rear, after market radio with no cutting of the dash with new speaker in original location and new factory antenna. Front end is totally rebuilt with new shocks all the way around, steering sector is also new, brakes are all new with calipers, hoses,pads, shoes, wheel seals, wheel cylinders and truning of rotors and drums. the rocker panels were replaced, one door had some rust but was repaired the rest of the truck was rust free. all lights work including the back up lights, all new hoses, wires, belts, battery, radiator, water pump, starter and alternator, carburetor was rebuilt with electric choke. Transmission is a 700R 4 with locking converter working with a vacume switch like it should. Drive shaft is new with new joints and is a one piece instead of a 2 piece with a swing bearing. this truck has been shown at local shows and wins first places often, lots of comments on the color combo. i have used this truck to tow race cars and show cars which was the intent, it does great that is why i hate to sell it, alot of time and tuning went into getting this truck like it is. bid with confidence, 100 % feedback on my ebay rating, any other questions call 901-237-4262 between 8 am and 5 pm daytime, evening and at nite till 10 pm 901-835-2389 central time zone!! almost forgot, all exterior side and rear chrome is new, front grille and shell is original, front bumper is a replacement and was bought new and still looks nice but is not new now. hub caps are new from chevrolet and so are the trim rings.
