I have for sale a 1966 Dodge 200 stepside pickup restoration project. It has a 225 slant six engine with a 4-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. It's 2-wheel drive and has a 8' box. The truck has a lower end knock but it still runs. Really, it runs rather well even though it has a knock so really it would be worth rebuilding this motor rather than changing it out. It runs off of a gas can under the hood since the inside of the gas tank is like varnish. It needs a slave cylinder for the clutch but it still drives if you put it in gear before you start it. The brakes don't work. All the tires hold air. The body is in fairly good shape for one of these. The wood for the bed of the truck is rotten. The sides of the box are in good shape and you can actually step on the steps on the side of the box without it crumbling beneath you like most others. It has a few dents in the rear fenders along with a few other misc. dents throughout the truck. The door jams for the cab have been patched with tin since the original ones got rusty. The cowl on the driver side has some rust. The tail gate is fully functional and it doesn't really have any rust but it does have some dents. The doors, hood, fenders, and grille are all in good shape. The driver door doesn't latch. The interior is in descent shape besides the seat is torn. The odometer shows 65,576 miles and I believe that's original. The frame is in good shape. All the glass is in good shape with no breaks or cracks. There is a 1970s GM radio in it but I don't think it works. Overall, for one of these, especially in Michigan, it's a fairly nice truck. With some work, this would make a very cool classic vehicle. I have a clear title for it. This truck is sold "As Is" "Where Is" with no warranty. You can't drive it home but you can drive it up on a trailer. It doesn't have a battery that comes with it but I can provide one so that you can hear it run and so you can drive it up on a trailer. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
